  2. ║                             EDITORS NOTE                                ║
  3. ║                                                                         ║
  4. ║   One day of every month, of every year, holds something special for    ║
  5. ║   someone somewhere.  For me, that day is the 14th of February, "St.    ║
  6. ║   Valentine's Day" effectionally known, simply as                       ║
  7. ║                                                                         ║
  8. ║                          "Valentine's Day"!                             ║
  9. ║                                                                         ║
  10. ║    On the 14th of this month LOVE will be overflowing everywhere!       ║
  11. ║                                                                         ║
  12. ║   Roses will flower, hearts will be drawn, candy will be sent, and of   ║
  13. ║   course, the POET will put pen to paper and write that special love    ║
  14. ║   poem!                                                                 ║
  15. ║                                                                         ║
  16. ║   For this poet, nothing is mightier than the simple words,             ║
  17. ║                                                                         ║
  18. ║                             "I LOVE YOU"!                               ║
  19. ║                                                                         ║
  20. ║   These simple three words, throughout all time, have caused countries  ║
  21. ║   to go to battle, toppled kingdoms and created new ones.  The simple   ║
  22. ║   saying of "I love you", or the lack thereof, have started and ended   ║
  23. ║   relationships worldwide, be it true or false.                         ║
  24. ║                                                                         ║
  25. ║         ┌────────────────────────────────────────────────────────┐      ║
  26. ║         │  The saying, "I love you" can make your day;           │      ║
  27. ║         │  The lack thereof can take it away.                    │      ║
  28. ║         │  The saying, "I love you", can bring joy to your life; │      ║
  29. ║         │  The lack thereof can bring sorrow and strife.         │      ║
  30. ║         │  The saying, "I love you" is willingly heard;          │      ║
  31. ║         │  The lack thereof can feel quite absurd.               │      ║
  32. ║         │  The saying, "I love you" we all want to hear;         │      ║
  33. ║         │  The lack thereof can be hard to bear.                 │      ║
  34. ║         │  So know that I love you, it causes no pain            │      ║
  35. ║         │  Like Poetry In Motion another Love Train!             │      ║
  36. ║         │  Tell someone you love them and say it for true        │      ║
  37. ║         │  You might get a surprise,                             │      ║
  38. ║         │                                                        │      ║
  39. ║         │                "HEY, I LOVE YOU TOO"!                  │      ║
  40. ║         │                                                        │      ║

  44. ║   Not everyone has the capability to love or to be loved, and if        ║
  45. ║   you've been fortunate enough to be on either side of the love train,  ║
  46. ║   you should stand up, shout, and call their name outloud!              ║
  47. ║                                                                         ║
  48. ║   I leave you with this poem for thought and if you love someone,       ║
  49. ║   TELL THEM!                                                            ║

  52. ║         │                    THINK ABOUT IT                   │         ║
  53. ║         │                                                     │         ║
  54. ║         │     Grab it while you can,                          │         ║
  55. ║         │     because if you turn your head for one second,   │         ║
  56. ║         │     it'll be gone.                                  │         ║
  57. ║         │                                                     │         ║
  58. ║         │     Cherish it while it feels good,                 │         ║
  59. ║         │     it may not always feel that way.                │         ║
  60. ║         │                                                     │         ║
  61. ║         │     Appreciate it today,                            │         ║
  62. ║         │     tomorrow it may be just another cloud           │         ║
  63. ║         │     passing by.                                     │         ║
  64. ║         │                                                     │         ║
  65. ║         │     Hold it tight while you can,                    │         ║
  66. ║         │     someone's always willing to take it from you.   │         ║
  67. ║         │                                                     │         ║
  68. ║         │     And for goodness sake,                          │         ║
  69. ║         │     love it today                                   │         ║
  70. ║         │     tomorrow isn't promised                         │         ║
  71. ║         │     and yesterday is in the past.                   │         ║
  72. ║         │                                                     │         ║
  73. ║         │     In other words, I'm gonna love you today,       │         ║
  74. ║         │     because if I turn my head for one second,       │         ║
  75. ║         │     you'll be gone with someone else and            │         ║
  76. ║         │     I'll only have this poem to remind me           │         ║
  77. ║         │     of our past.                                    │         ║
  78. ║         │                                                     │         ║
